Skye Players Travel South For Iomain Cholmcille 7 | |
07 November 2014 Six Skye Camanachd players have travelled South for the Iomain Cholmcille 7 Shinty / Hurling clash with Fir Uladh at Lochinch Park on the Southside of Glasgow on Saturday 8 November 2014. Skye Camanachd’s Ally MacDonald, David Grant and brothers Ally “Spod” MacLeod and Iain “Spod” MacLeod and John Angus MacInnes and David MacInnes are all part of the Alba squad. Iomain Cholmcille is the international Shinty / Hurling series for Gaelic speakers and Alba will be managed by Skye’s Aonghas MacDonald. This is the seventh running of the series and a large crowd is expected for this event which has grown radically in the last few years. Throw-in is at 1.30pm. |
