The Skye Camanachd first team lost 1-0 to Kingussie in the cottages.com MacTavish Cup Final at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 10 June 2023. James Falconer scored the only goal of the game after 28 minutes. Congratulations to Kingussie and Skye did more than enough to suggest that it won’t be long before they are back competing in finals again. The Skye Camanachd second team did not have a fixture. Skye Camanachd A did not have a WCA Mowi National Division fixture. Skye Camanachd B did not have a WCA Mowi North Division 2 fixture. Skye Camanachd under-17 had two fixtures this week. First up was a Mowi National Under-17 League - London Shield Section A match against Inverness under-17 at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Tuesday 6 June 2023. Skye won the game 4-0 with Archie Millar scoring twice and Ali Stewart and Jamie Ross getting the others. Skye Camanachd under-17 lost 4-3 after extra-time in their cottages.com MacTavish Juvenile Cup Final at the Bught Park, Inverness on Saturday 10 June 2023. Jamie Ross, Archie Millar’s penalty and Iain MacInnes counted for Skye but Ewen Campbell, James Clark and Jack Kearney’s brace gave the Fort victory. Skye’s Seonaidh-Alex Macleod received the Sandy MacKay Medal as man of the match. The Skye Camanachd under-14 squad did not have a fixture. |
