20 May 2023 This week’s Skye Camanachd results are in! The Skye Camanachd first team drew 2-2 with Lovat in their Mowi Premiership meeting at Pairc nan Laoch, Portree on Saturday 20 May 2023. James Pringle and Ross Gordon twice had Skye ahead but Greg Matheson levelled on both occasions. A penalty shoot-out ensued to decide the Thomas Ferguson Memorial Cup and Lovat won 3-2 so their captain Danny Kelly raised the trophy. Skye’s Ruaraidh MacLeod was awarded the Glasgow Mid Argyll Shield as man of the match. The Skye Camanachd second team lost 3-2 against Lochcarron in their Strathdearn Cup quarter-final tie at Battery Park on Saturday 20 May 2023. Taylor Matheson put Skye ahead, but Iain MacKenzie took the tie to extra-time. Another from Ian MacKenzie and a Lachlan Dean Morrice effort meant Seonaidh Alec MacLeod’s late strike wasn’t enough for Skye.
