Greg Matheson caught Skye cold with a goal from close range, forcing the ball over the line after just 2 minutes. Skye came more into it as the game went on and Ross Gordon scored from James Pringle’s quick free-hit but the referee asked for it to be retaken. Skye were enjoying a good period when Marc MacLachlan scored a stunning second for the home side on 61 minutes. MacLachlan turned Skye’s Ally MacLeod and he didn’t break stride as he sent a rasping shot into the corner of the net on his backhand.
